Miami Beach was paradise in the 1960s

Hotels lined the sandy strand

Food ranged from burgers.

Italian.

BBQ.

But tourists came for the sun.

Everyone dreamed of staying.

Land agents helped them find a place in te sun.

The locals called that land a swamp.

And there was a lot of it.

Even now.

But not Miami Beach.

In some ways it's still Paradise.
